George Best Remembered
When first recorded and broadcast in Northern Ireland to mark the first anniversaryof George's death,this poignant film had the title of "To George With Love". It is a moving and in depth account which charts the life of one of the most iconic sporting personalities of all time. This rare and emotional video gives a close up and personal look at George's life, both on and off the pitch by the people who knew him and loved him most. George's late father Dickie, speaks lovingly and emotionally about his son's life from sporting hero to alcoholic. Barbara, George's sister and her husband Norman said that it was one of the most difficult things to watch George's Dad struggle with his emotions and open his heart in such a way. They will always admire him for participating in the making of this documentary. Following the transmission in Northern Ireland, it was re named "George Best Remembered".
